CARBON FIBER E-BIKE

An advanced electric platform integrating structural carbon fiber engineering, dynamic CFD thermal management, and modular chassis architecture to maximize range, safety, & performance

OVERVIEW & KEY CAPABILITIES

TOPU’s Carbon Fiber Electric Two-Wheeler system combines Finite Element CAE analysis and CFD to deliver a lightweight, high-rigidity vehicle platform. Its "frame-as-exterior" concept exposes the carbon fiber frame directly as the body shell, eliminating extra plastic panels, brackets, and hardware. For thermal safety, CFD-optimized airflow channels, intake/exhaust ducts, and automated variable-speed fans dynamically cool the battery compartment during charge and discharge cycles.

INDUSTRY VALUE & IMPACT

Engineered to solve the trade-offs between vehicle weight, structural safety, thermal management, and assembly complexity, the platform reduces energy consumption and extends riding range. Compared to steel frames, the carbon fiber structure is ~33% lighter with nearly 88% higher bending rigidity. Its modular chassis allows electrical components to be
pre-assembled and tested off-line, streamlining production and simplifying field maintenance.

VALIDATION & EMPIRICAL RESULTS

The platform’s structural resilience, thermal management, and assembly design were validated using CAE stress simulations and CFD thermal analysis under realistic road conditions.
