Ibaraki Prefecture — located just northeast of Tokyo and known for its strong manufacturing, agriculture, and R&D industries — has been steadily building ties with Taiwan's business community. On September 1st, that partnership took another step forward.
TOPU attended the Business Matching Networking Event, held in collaboration with Ibaraki x Taiwan, where six innovative companies from Ibaraki — spanning fields including semiconductor and aerospace technology — introduced themselves to Taiwanese businesses in search of new partnerships. The companies were also in Taiwan for SEMICON Taiwan, taking place over the following days.
We had the opportunity to speak in depth with Bethel Co., Ltd. and Emulsion Flow Technologies Ltd., learning more about each other's work and exploring potential opportunities for collaboration.
