CeE M1 is a brand-new intelligent electric motorbike design by TOPU. This project integrates advanced carbon fiber materials, battery cooling technology, smart safety monitoring, and user experience/interface design, providing consumers with an intelligent, high-performance, safe, and cutting-edge riding experience. Three main design achievements are summarized:
1) We design the frame structure and battery casing using high rigidity-to-weight ratio and thermal conductivity pitch-based CF. This results in a one-piece lightweight frame and a battery casing with excellent heat dissipation.
2) We installed cooling fans inside the storage compartment that houses two swappable batteries. These fans activate to expel heat when the batteries' internal temperature is detected to be high.
3) We develop an intelligent system to integrate various sensors, including thermocouples, TPMS, ADAS, strain gauges, and IMUs. This system transmits real-time vehicle data, such as battery power, temperature, front and rear obstacles, frame health, and dangerous driving behaviors, to the human-machine interface on a mobile device and panel. This provides the driver with a safe, comfortable, and flexible riding experience.
